Winter Garden, situated on the south shore of Lake Apopka and 14 miles west of Orlando, is quentissental Florida. With red brick streets, historic buildings and grand oaks shading the sidewalks, Winter Garden has become a destination for Orlando area residents and visitors alike. The historic downtown district includes locally owned shops and restaurants, two museums, an art gallery, the Garden Theatre and the weekly Farmers Market on Saturdays.

Last year, Orlando Webcasts offered to install and maintain a live camera that would show the downtown district and clock tower. The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation had the perfect location and allowed our idea to move forward. In February, 2021, the camera was installed and tested and went live on February 11th.

The camera has proven to be a hit. Since going live, over 100,000 unique viewers have watched the stream for an average of six minutes. The YouTube page has reach 2 million impressions and visitors from 21 countries have tuned in.
